Hey baby get up on this right here. This project is titled “Don’t Believe The Type”* and if simple looks are first looks are simple looks are final words, this is tight. Discover how explosively 3D and graphicky-modern type can be in these examples. I’d LOVE to have a stack of stickers of these amalgamations. Designed by none other than Marta Cerdà Alimbau herself. Such glitz, such magnificence.
*the project is called Don’t Believe The Type because it’s part of an exhibition of projects all called that too. Check out the description right abouts below this.
Project: Collaboration for the exhibitions of www.gofonturself.com.au and for the Ship of Fools exhibition “Don’t belive the type”. I tryed to make a tacky, kitch, vulgar and acid piece, where we can read some lines of the world we are living in. Very aged and retro, as if it was part of an old ridiculous civilization, allready dead. We try to make letters beautful, more attractive, more visible, when many times, consciuos or not, the content of the message we’re working on is totally wrong. This is an exaggeration, it’s not ment to be a beautiful typographical piece, it’s more a personal refletion.
