Designer Eric Gorvin is one of those fabulous new-age designers seemingly obsessed with saying what is happening. Also he’s good at arranging letters with the correct amount of space between them. He’s a designer and a typographer from and in Minneapolis, and he has this very simple poster for you!

This poster is called “Wish Want Need Do Die.” and is printed in red ink on a torrential paperpour of different materials, especially sheets containing ironic or especially poignant subject matter given the words being used. This project was designed and executed in Minneapolis, more than likely right inside my alma mater, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, up in the print lab.

To get in contact with Gorvin, email him at ericgorvin @ gmail.com or go directly to his portfolio website to cheque and see if he’s got any new fabulous works to be checked oot!

NOTE: This is one of the designers behind the mysterious and fun almost-winter project we posted about a few months ago, US + THEM. Looks familiar, yes?

Also, while we’re at it, check out an associate of mine and Gorvins, SomeOtherPeople, a blog run by Ryan Hageman. He’s the first one to have posted this poster out in the wild, if I’m not mistaken. Slap his hand vigorously!
