Where new design goes to blossom and lost design goes to live again.

Bagni di Lucca, Tuscany, Italy, what a mouthful. They’ve got a load of fabulous hand-carved wooden signs all along their coast, along with a couple stragglers which are also just basically fabulous in their non-woodness. I’ll tell ya though, wood looks nice near the water, especially carved to lettering and painted to niceness. Here we’ve got a collection of photos of these fantastic signs clicked by the daring Luca Paolassini, who is also seeming to have more than a couple rated-x photo shoots under his belt, so to speak.

Don’t worry though! The photos in this post are rated E for Excellent.

I must say you’ve got to visit Luca Paolassini‘s lovely portfolio, if only for the strange, whacky world of pornography-convention-photography. Distorted realities and design-conscious image collecting are this dude’s hot spots.

Behold a tiny trove of photography from the strong and the wild at World Famous Design Junkies. Totally where we’re at. Hot exposures. And of course, one of the more important categories on WFDJ will always be SIGNS – nevah forget that.
