It is the ever-so-slight to ever-so-giant simplification of images, ideas, and the like that is the main tenant of the design hotel. The design hotel is the place were we all live, here, in modern times. The dude whose name is Max Capacity is a designer who works with his crew at Analog Medium. What Max Capacity has done here is to transmit fabulous and excellent images through what any motherloving normal person would call an 8-Bit process: using utilities that employ the ZX Spectrum to turn regular images into true pixelations.

Lookin good. When you’ve got a lot of colors, don’t worry about it. Take all those colors and reduce them down to a few with a pixel process. It makes everything appear another level of fantastic as it shines in some sort of a campy way as “computerized” color blocks.

Above and below you’ll see a collection of images processed by Max Capacity, each of them carefully changed into perfectly color proportioned pics. If you’d like to get in contact with MC to commission some works by him or just to peek at additional works in his portfolio, take a peek at his Max Capacity flickr collection, an ongoing collection of course.
