Prince Lotusflower Artshow

Purple People. Get your funky eyeballs all strung out for this. It’s the first Prince artshow done so close with the rainmaker himself. All artwork done by Anthony Malzone, Prince’s top designer, signed by him and stamped by hand with the love symbol. Held at the San Francisco Art Exchange, 7 unique works from the sweet waters of funk royalty, posters made of pure Minneapolis rock and roll. And a generous amount of archival ink.

San Francisco Art Exchange
The Art of Prince
Opening Night December 16th, 2009
7 Unique Works from Prince

Each work is:
Signed by lead designer Anthony Malzone
Love Symbol Stamped
Approximately 36″ x 24″
Giclee Printed

Keep in mind, these are exclusive fine art prints with a limited production of only 99 per image. They are all signed by Prince’s lead designer, Anthony Malzone alongside the iconic Prince Love Symbol which has been hand embossed into each print. Each piece measures 24″ x 36″ and is printed as a giclee digital print using high quality archival inks on acid free archival paper.

As mentioned, this is the first time Prince has released anything like this. The project falls perfectly in place with his unbound creative impulses to explore new media and participate with his fans.

Photos in the gallery OF the gallery opening taken by William Schwerin and DJ Dave Paul. Also we’ve got this lovely filmed account of the show by Doctor Funkenberry! You’ll also find each of the seven works in the show, a couple of which were featured on Princes latest triple-album “LOtUSFLOW3R.”

If you interested in owning these, you’ll also be interested in knowing they cost a LOT of money. $1,000 apiece for a giclee edition of 99. Wild.
