Hey I bet you know about some landmarks, right? How about this one? The ATOMIUM! The illustration you see above and below is done by the pixel super group eBoy, a group we’re very much into covering. One pixel, one square, one detail. Check out the image above and below (with greater detail), and read a little bit about the Atomium too!

This fabulous landmark was built for the World Fair in 1958. Nine spheres, each of them with room for walking around in. According to the Atomium website, 5 of the 9 are open for people to walk around in, 1 of them is a permanent show about the ’58 expo, 1 is for temporary exhibitions with scientific themes, the top sphere is a restaurant with the best view in the whole world, and I don’t know what the last sphere is for, but I bet it’s totally amazing.

And I have NO IDEA why eBoy did an illustration of it, but they just leaked this image, so that means probably they’re in the act of making a poster of the whole Brussles area. Maybe one on landmarks. We gotta wait and see!

Hi all. I’m Axel Addington, in charge of the brand image of the Atomium.
Thanx a lot for this wonderful post. It looks you took time to browse our site :)
On eBoy’s site, it is said that this picture has been made for “Bergerat Monnoyeur, France”. Bergerat Monnoyeur sells, hires, maintains and repairs new or used worksite equipment (seemingly Caterpilar) and associated services.
But as you wrote, a poster of the whole Brussles area would be great.

Oh wow! It’s an honor to have you come comment. Thanks for the insider info!

And again a ripped off gallery without any Link to the Artist. I know you do this fully conscious and therefore you suck. WFDJ is just little better than Blogspam. Losers.

Is there a problem you’d like to discuss? I mention eboy several times in the article. What more would you like? Eboy isn’t the type of group that needs hits to their site, they need notoriety and connections, which if you check the comments, you’ll see I connected them directly with the public relations guy from the architecture they’ve illustrated here. Your site Nerdcore has published my works several times without question, why the change of heart?

I, too, think there is a problem. Providing links to the original is not a matter of your opinion on whether someone needs hits to their site. It is a matter of courtesy and giving credit where it is due.

Please add a link to the eboy site.

Another reason I do not link to eBoy in particular is that at this point, WFDJ has linked to them several times, and since they’re so easily findable, it makes more sense to me to connect to the rest of the posts we’ve done on them since they provide some extra information that the eBoy site might not.
