A fine little printed poem from a simpler, stupider time. The non-affiliated ephemera poem reads as thus-wise: THE PERFECT WOMAN: I met the perfect woman, / And one could ask no more; / She was deaf and dumb / and oversexed, / and owned a liquor store !

Quite the claimz. I do like signs like this. From around, whaddya say, the 1950s through the 60s? Signs that have quips, poems, pictures, one-frame comics that say a little something in general about men, women, spouses, or children. Also they might say something about drinking if they’re on the wall at a bar, or about coffee if they sit at a diner. Search for “Quips” in the search bar above to see more thangs like this. (NOTE: if this post is relatively new, there might not be any other examples yet, but if this post has been around for a while, you might be in for a lucky stars treat.)
