Where new design goes to blossom and lost design goes to live again.

To imagine a world where all things that roll away on me to be flat, this would be a world without balls. But to imagine a world without rolling light sources, there’s a generally better idea. Presenting the Flat Bulb, by Joonhuyn Kim. To imagine this plugged into a socket is also to imagine a more ironic world.

Pretend rolling never happened, and embrace the extra space. Joonhuyn Kim brings it, but brings it too late? One wonders why this design does not include the new-wave of [LED] light source, allowing the user to embrace energy conservation while continuing to advance the ever-changing world of harsh-amazing design aesthetics.

Any way you see it, it almost seems like a sure-thing for being picked up and distributed by the fine folks at that Swedish design store IKEA. Can you say yellow and blue?
