Aesthetic Apparatus print release day, is a very, dangerous day. Today we have The Night Marchers, M.Ward, and Flight of the Conchords. See below for witty words from the Apparatus on each print. Always with the words and the print releasings.

The M.Ward print was up in a bunch of places at First Avenue when last I checked. Don’t let anyone see you take those, though, First Ave will kill yo azz.

M.WARD
w/The Watson Twins

We’ve been a fan of Mister Ward here at the Aesthetic Apparatus North American headquarters for quite some time so we jumped at the chance to do a poster to promote his show here in Minneapolis. We were also pleased to see that our good pals The Watson Twins were opening. They’re nice girls. But we beg you to look into the eyes of the sad bird on the poster. Just look at them! Poor little bird has been looking in the want ads all day to no avail. You can help him. You just have to let yourself. Oh, and we don’t have all that many of these.

THE NIGHT MARCHERS
w/The Dynamiters and Red Pens

Oh man. Night Marchers main man, John Reis, was the previously the driving force behind one of the best bands ever. That band was Rocket From The Crypt. Oh how we loved Rocket From The Crypt. They broke up a couple years ago. But that is OK because now we have The Night Marchers and holy hot balls are they great as well. The night of the show was filled with some crazy drama related to a certain notorious biker gang not being please about their logo being used on a flier that someone else had done for the show. We didn’t witness what happened but it seriously scared the crap outta everyone involved. Crazy!

FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS
w/Kristen Schaal

We have a friend who when seeing this poster seemed horrified by what we had done to Bret and Jemaine’s “beautiful faces.” Sorry about that! We can’t help but think that their inner beauty is what is really important. Right? The first design we showed them had a one eye’d, mutant kiwi bird with a giant mustache. That design was denied. Poor mustached, mutant kiwi always being judged. Anyway, we were quite pleased to be asked to be part of the tour poster series being done for their current tour. OH! We only have a handful of these so please don’t hesitate too long to purchase.
