toppy top!

Oh ya nice! Every time I see a new light or lamp concept I get really pumped up. I love light. I’ve gotta have the whole room lit up at night like it’s daytime. The only time I like it dark in the living room is when it’s time for a scary movie. This isn’t horror though, this is a fantasy! It’s a lamp project that uses low-tech and a simple re-adjustment of structure to cover not the area holding the light, but encapsulating the place where the light goes instead!

I’d like these to be giant, such as like as big as a room giant, made for lobby places and skating rinks and whatnot.

Light’s Silhouette.

Licht (light in German) celebrates the fusion of high-design with low-tech manufacturing. The design process began with the investigation of processes in local boutique manufacturers.

Licht interprets the structure of a lamp through the silhouette of the light.
It’s about light.
It’s about simplicity.
It’s about effortless.
