Welcome to the big teeth and big eyes of Chris Ryniak’s monster farm. The fantastic thing about this collection is that it’s both paintings, images that are flat, and images that have come alive through action figuresque sculptures and wall-heads. All are frightening, all could be sitting in the bedroom of the baby of a hip parent as easily as they could belong to a blacklight-only basement dweller.
My dad used to know a basement dweller. He used only blacklights, had no windows, and had all his walls painted black. Weirdo. Black Sabbath.
Take a peek at the rest of the grotesque category for a real fright.
