What was your favorite thing to learn about in school when you were five years old? Ask anyone. Ask anyone at all, ever. They will tell you the exact same thing. Seriously. Dinosaurs. These bad-ass creatures from the past were and ARE so amazingly mystical and magical that they capture the imaginations of generation after generation of human being children since we first started understanding their terribleness in 1842. What’s it what we’ve got right here? A funtastic little kid book made just now by mah man, designer illustrator Ian Smith. It’s a book about dinosaurs, plain, simple, very skillfully done. I love all the illustrations, especially the pterodactyl. Fantastique.

By the way, did you know that on March 4, 2010, a panel of 41 scientists decided that the Chicxulub asteroid impact was really truly the event that trigger the mass extinction of the dinosaurs? That’s wild! Read more links through the Wiki for more informations on that.

Never stop learning about dinosaurs. They’re severely important in their ability to spark the imagination. Keep on sparking. Take a peek at several other pages of the book below. To get in contact with Smith, email him at Ian Smith or hang on over to http://ianillustrates.com/ for more projects.

BONUS: The correct name for Brontosaurus! Damn be to the name Brachiosaurus!
