This is a collection of images like images you may be familiar with. Well photographed, nicely lit, and full blown. But the environments have something a bit more wild than’s usual. We’ve got a whole category for this sort of wildness, it’s called Unnatural Nature. This project itself is called “Animalia” and is the work of photographer / designer Mikel Uribetxeberria. From the internet, that’s where the animals come from. Cheque the full list below.

Mikel Uribetxeberria’s done this project with his camera, his hands, and his eyes. And his clicker finger. Each one of these photos represents a collaboration, as each one contains a photographed background as done by M.U., and a photographed animal subject as photographed by someone else. The list (complete with links to the original photo) is as thus:

Gorilla picture by Ricky Stern
Elephant picture by Konrad Glogowski
Rhino picture by Amy Furlong
Armadillo picture by Alan Krakauer
Coyote picture by Keith Jeffers
Elk picture by Dr. Len Radin
Kangaroo picture by Anne Tuck
Zebra picture by Mark de Kock

Habeeb it. It’s a microcosm of the share and borrow internet world we live in today. In this case, I find it to be quite wonderful. Without teamwork this might never have happened.

And note the street writing!
