So you’re sort of bored with the old, priceless works of art in your home. What do you do? I know what you do. You destroy them. OR you add nice additions to them as an addition! That’s what this project right here was totally about. This project called “Graffiti Renovation” and it was run by the fine folks over at the W1000 company. The entire results of the contest are below. Every single classic painting destroyed with wonderful, wonderful style.

See the most excellence. The most excellence you’ll see all post. Below is someone else, above is Banksy. You’ll love them both, I’m sure. As far as this organization knows, the street artist by the name of Banksy was the first artist to defile old paintings in this manner. I’d love for someone to provide an older example – speak up!

And now peek out the rest of the gallery! You’ll be saying “god, why did you invent photoshop you horrible, horrible man” by the time you’re finished. The man who invented photoshop wasn’t responsible for these works, however, as they were all (most, or all) created with a program called Aviary – an image editor that works through flash to bring an environment very similar to photoshop online. Real cool!
