Yes there are some times when its appropriate to draw sports figures, believe it or not! The golden, romantic age of sports heros is over – Michael Jordan and Bo Jackson do not play sports anymore. But here’s a couple of women who love sports men so much they draw them with felt pens & markers to this day! These illustrators are named Sandra & Annika and they go by the team name YAWN.

YAWN means YEAH! AWESOME! WOW! NICE! What a weird thing. Yawn is like a yawn, boring, crappy, tired, but then it means something amazing here.

It’s just totally clever, isn’t it?! It is!
