In the merry old land of England, skips, aka dumpsters, are small and yellow. All of them. Maybe. Point is, Oliver Bishop-Young has documentation of a bunch of skip conversions alongside a project called Skip Waste which lists the locations and contents of skips all around the place.

Click inside for more skip shenanigans.

SkipWaste.org.uk is a site that shares the location and contents of skips across the country. It incourages the re-use of resources making it easy to find what you need for nothing.

A small problem with this skipwaste idea is that the skipwaste.org.uk web address is already taken by an actual Skip Waste company. Other than that, the idea is great! Sites with real map locations using Googlemaps or similar such things are awesome.

And this using of skips to claim public space as actual public space: tops. Way, way tops. Click the public space category to see all the [Public Space] junk we have to offer at Design Junkies.

Check out the portfolio of [Oliver Bishop-Young] for more funky recycling.
