So were were up there in the North-West part of Minnesota, just driving around looking for a good time and all and what do we find? A gosh-darned flea market! This is a brief account of this lovely place, a market by the name of Shady Hollow. Complete with painted signs, flags and strange people, and pile after pile of fabulously preserved pieces of consumer culture.

These photos were taken June 27th, 2010 up at Shady Hollow flea market. This little market has its own dot com, but don’t let that fool you. There’s plenty of stuff sitting around in these stalls you’d never be able to locate in the infinite halls of the internets, and more than a couple of strange vendors too.

Visit this one. It’s a good one.

HAHA is that in Detroit Lakes?! If so, I lived about 4 miles from that place for a while!
