Hey Nathan, First, it’s PON farr…not pung. And…it’s a joke….(not a site asking how you liked the movie) Lastly it’s STAR TREK!!! If you knew anything about it, you would know it was an alternate timeline=duh= if you paid attention to the “basterdized” version.(always wondered what Spock would have been like if he had swayed to the human side of his species) They HAVE to make it new actors..(in order to keep it alive)..the old ones are all dead or in retirement, or probably should be. YES!!! Star Trek lives!!!! You…..just beam to a planet with low oxygen and lighten up. Everyone else, LIVE LONG and PROSPER!!!!!!
