JVallee PAPER SPRAY

Ahso! The flattening of the world. This activity started many years ago. At least 10 years ago, with the cave drawings. And this is the next step. Taking those flat drawings and making them EXPLODE again. Black into color. Here’s a fully-paper sculpture from Berlin designer Julien Vallée. It is called “Paper Sculpture” aka “PAPER SPRAY” — Yes indeed.

Paper sculpture created for the main exhibition of the 2009 Zürich Illustrative festival.

The folding of paper is an activity that pre-dates paper by several years, followed soon after by the creative folding of paper for the purpose of beauty! If you’d like to find more fantastifabulous paper folding activities, some activities so unique they have their own name, peek at Mu Pan and his “ORAGAMU”. Mu Pan is very modern, too!

But first, take a peep and the spraycan of many colors! Straight out of the World Famous Design Junkies paper category.
