Mexican Flat ala Federico Jordán

Federico Jordán brings to you his flat world of Illustration and Ornamentation. This is what I call Mexican Flat. What’s seen here is a total flattening of Mexican Traditional Art mixed ever-so-skillfully with elements of modern South America and USA Street-Pop – aka graffiti fine art style. Jordán works on fine art as well as for a variety of organizations such as The New York Times, Rolling Stone México, and Chigago Magazine.

Peep the Mexico Pop!

Recognize the flattening! If you’re into this style, or’d like to further understand the flat phenomenon, take a peek at World Famous Design Junkies first Matt Thomas post. He’s on the American tip. Flat is one of the many skilled styles of illustration we offer.
