On World Famous Design Junkies there have been some weird things posted. Definitely some weird things indeed. Some of these weird things, these weird projects, also fall into the “under the influence” category. This UTI category covers a broader spectrum than the drug culture it’s connected to foremost, but today, I’ve got to say, we might very well be dealing with that very subject. Presenting the deranged illustrations of Matt Furie.

Matt Furie was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1979. He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio in 2001. Matt is a leo, he enjoys long walks in the park, bubble baths, and an occasional glass of wine. He currently lives in San Francisco. His comic series “Boy’s Club” is published by Buenaventura Press.

Take notice of the subject matter and peep on the trends. There’s a few things that show up pretty regularly: beast with another beast slung over it’s shoulder, beast having sex in various positions with other beast, beast holding baby beast in it’s arms, collection of beast heads, master beast standing aside dog beast, collection of beast bodies, and my favorite: terminator beast verses nature beast.
