Let’s talk. Let’s talk for a moment about blogging. About how it’s a bit of a faux pas to report on things that are in between a year and ancient. That is, how dare I write about something that happened 2 years ago, it’s not new and it’s not vintage! It is a blog crime. But hello! Let’s break this silly tradition. Let me do it right now, here’s something right around the borderline – here’s some colortastic photos taken by photographer / writer / fabulous dude Ryan Muir at The Flaming Lips headline ATP NY 2009, at Kutshers Country Club.

Now BEHOLD these ultra-amazing photos of this concert. The Flaming Lips always put on these sort of concerts, always with the lights and the balls. So many balls, so many lights, everyone loves it! It’s a big hippie slam festival every time they roll through the town.

Now go look at this gallery. Keep in mind that it’s not new and it’s not vintage. Fear for your life, for it is wrong! But perchance you’ve not seen these images before, and perhaps your MIND is blown by these photos, an amazing array of fantastic arrangements in space… and time! Look upon them and laugh in merriment, then put it all in your psychedelic colored corncob and glass pipe and smoke it.
