I believe that it is right that pencils be so inexpensive to produce that groups and organizations are able to print on them and give them away in great quantity. This is the way that our graphic world is evolving.

This is alright for now.

The pencil is not a commodity which is held in high regard, generally. The pencil is not a fashion statement. The pencil is not large enough for any person to take the time to seek out a perfect color and size.
