It takes a certain type of person to stand directly in front of another person they’ve never met, taking a photo of them and running away. That’s what Samuel Hervas does, he does it so good. And you know where he does it? Rome. He’s got this set of photos called “Tourists”, the whole set of photos taken in Rome, Italy, the whole set of photos taken of tourists walking all about the city. I went there one time and never saw Hervas, but I would not be surprised if he sneaked a pic somewhere or another in there. I ate lots of pizza and gelato.
When you live in a city like Rome, it’s difficult to take photos of people who AREN’T tourists. When you do, you capture the Italians waving their hand backward saying “chau.”
Take a peek at this whole set, then peek a look back at the rest of the works done by Samuel Hervas on his portfolio site. On that note, if you enjoy excellent and fantastic photos of city-centric scenes and people in those places, take a lurk on up to the search bar here in your upper-right and type in the city of your choice inside quote signs for good measure. If you don’t see the city of your choice, enter the city of your choice in the center top submit section that’s normally reserved for portfolios. Do it. Rock it.
