Oh man I HATE IT when people are passive aggressive supreme. So much. So much do I hate such a thing. But I’ll tell you what I like. Green White and Black. As together as they should be, all day and night. Up in this project. It’s a ton of materials, like stickers, sticky-notes, and badges that allow YOU to make the most of your passive aggressive nature in just the most fantastic sticky-designish way possible!

As Emigre turns 25, FontFeed celebrates with a big huge post (you’ve gotta click that), and World Famous Design Junkies gets buckwild. I saw this fantastically red book cover that you see above* and said OH my goodness this is a good cover. The colors. The colors are so lovely I can scarcely believe it. This doesn’t happen just every 10 minutes, so I said to myself then that it was time, OMFG!

For those of you living in Minneapolis and the tristate area, you might already be in the know. If you are NOT in the know, aka if you live on the internet, which I’m going to assume the rest of the world does, then you’d better get your eyes on this. Aesthetic Apparatus has here a 9 sign set (plus a few GIANT versions which are NAUGHT available to the public) of “Yes, We’re Sorry We’re” signs for your enjoyment and amusement. They are screenprinted in lovely black and blaze orange, and are sure to light the lol fire under anyone’s bottom.

Welcome to the Japanese elevator. Our man in Japan Slicerace has you locked down on the Tokyo tip. Goin up! What do we have here? It’s a no spitting sign. Something seem strange about it to you? It’s printed sideways! And not only that, it’s hung with the lettering pretty much horizontal and the bulk of the info ending where the sign above it ends. Veddy nice. Veddy pleasing to the eyes.

Our man in Japan! If you did not know it: one of World Famous Design Junkies’ finest affiliates is Slicerace, a Minnesotan-born scientist truly interested in the investigation of fascinating stuff. This summer he’s doing an internship in Tokyo through the University of Minnesota. While he’s there, he’s taking pics of everything that’s wild so that you, too, can experience the wonders of Tokyo through the eyes of an outsider! What we’ve got here, first, is a sign from inside his place of lodging : fire extinguisher the size of a can.
