Have you had a nice day today? Well, maybe it’s because you’re totally suffocating The Environment! Yes, every day, 1 million animals die from eating plastic bags. Isn’t that crazy? Well designer / artist Aron Kullander-Östling is about to get all up into the print shop and do something wild about it. Yes, that’s right, he’s gonna screenprint his way outta this one. And he does! In a limited edition of 50, he’s changed the world, one bag at a time. Taking the graphics from this 100% classic plastic bag you could find anywhere in the world basically, he transfered and inked his way onto 50 hand-sewn canvass bags.

When I think of things precious, I think of a ring, I think of something breakable, something special. When I think of a breakable, special item, I think of Bleeding Gums Murphy of the Simpsons, who lost all of his riches spending it on Fabergé eggs, then breaking them in the alleyway. But that’s not this! Nay! This is the works of a Chinese magician artist by the name of Ma Jun. It is his trade to recreate objects of little worth in Porcelain, painting them with fine colors, creating in them a value far beyond the dreams of the original.

Hello 2 U, miss kitty. I see you’ve got quite the worn from wear chainsaw there. How nice it is! The more you use it, the prettier I bet you thought it would not get, but nay! The character adds the interest. In this project from a lady artist who goes only by the title “Shelly”, the paint and kitty accents were added by hand, then worn down by hand as well.

Hey so who loves graffiti in places under bridges that you’re not supposed to go to because it’s illegal to be there and also there’s homeless people there who will kill you? I do! That’s why I love these photos taken by an anonymous donor, all of them marked 2006, all of them on either side of the Northern Pacific-BNSF Minneapolis Rail Bridge. There’s lots of stuff down there. AKA the “Dark Lens” series by Cédric Delsaux. What you’re about to see is a series of photographs of Star Wars characters and ships placed in a real Earth world. There has been a bit of confusion over these photos in the past, especially since they’re so hype-worthy and easily spread without accreditation. There are approximately 3 releases of these photos, each with a few new images added. The first came in 2005, the next sometime before 2007, and now the newest one in 2010. It’s a fascinating set of photos in which after the shock and awe of realizing that that’s a Jawa I see stealing my speeder parts, there comes a sense of fascination, a real new sense of “it’s all true, isn’t it?”

Hello all you would-be distributors of the word to the masses without money. This is your new bible on what to do, (and more importantly, in that, what NOT to do), when distributing your message. It is also important at this moment to mention that everything you see above and below is illegal, and that if you try graffiti, you’re going to get shot, or worse, arrested. Hello all you fun-loving satanists – keep your crappy rat-made tats. The following is a collection of images of upside-down crosses. This is not a collection of evil for satan’s sake. It is a collection of the tendency for images of inverted crosses to be wild and weird. It takes a special situation for a person to decide to flip a cross on its head because of the controversial reaction it might make. However, as you’ll be quick to see, many of these images are personal – images of flipped crosses written on hands, on desks in schools, and more, just for some sort of self-fulfilling need. But then again, they did photograph them.

Indulge in this weirdness, and stray not from the path of righteousness.
