A Bathing Ape, aka BAPE has a new shoe, Spring 2010, or some new colors, a style, whatever coming out this spring. It’s done in the same style as the Chuck Taylor All Star shoe, except the difference is it’s got a Bape logo. The logo is attached with velcro, too! What do you think about that? I think it’d be kind of inconvenient, like I’d be pretty prone to be losing it just walking my day-to-day. It’d get caught on a flower and get pulled right off!

I could ask you what you thought of the direct… tribute… to the Chucka but I wont. I wont even ask you about that! Not even at all. Look there’s more colors too!

Where can I buy bootleg Bape patches like this? I want to sew them onto my other stuff.

I’m not joking on that one.

ALSO I think this is a great opportunity for a sort of interchangeable creator situation. Any brand name can sell their own version of the brand patch and people can buy, attach, and be cool! What a weird place branding really is. I also think the big ® would be appropriate. I’m Lovin It.
