A Tiny City Printing Press Bape X Pokemon 01

Japanese streetwear brand A Bathing Ape aka BAPE has had many collaborators and brand collaborations over the years, but none as silly and excellent as this. Our frequent pals A Tiny City Printing Press sent us this project this morning. Using some of the most universally recognizable aspects of the Pokemon world, Pikachu, the Pokemon logo mark, mixing it with the BAPE world: the ape, the baby monkey Milo. Take a peep at these 6 shirts then save up three weeks worth of allowance to buy one!

The images below are © 2009 A Tiny City Printing Press. This post is the source of these images online – they’ve never been shown anywhere else at the time I’m posting this. SO if you’re gonna repost, it would be awesome if you could add a link to this. UPDATE: this thang is going extremely viral extremely quickly, so if you find anyone posting without a link back to World Famous Design Junkies, let us know!

UPDATE! Now a screenprint:: Pokeprints!

And don’t forget to check out the World Famous Design Junkies weird category, because holy crap and dang if this ain’t a post that belongs in that category, that’s for dam sure.
