Hamburger shop perfection, Val’s Rapid Serv. The best burger shop in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, and any dang other place in the world as far as I say. Inexpensive, fabulously fast, and yes, they’ve got Root Beer. And the best part of this shop? It’s looked exactly the same for the past 50 years!

A lovely review (from an “outsider” perspective) has been done by MSPD of Chowhound. But there’s really only one thing you need to know: every time you order fries with your burger, (this should be every time,) you get a giant shovel. There’s a tiny bag for the fries inside your bag containing your whole order, but the fries dwarf the rest of the food.

AND check out the sign: they’ve got root beer. That means you’ve got to stop on by. And I know you travel past Saint Cloud all the time, so why not!? Get on it, and chow: 628 E St Germain St.Cloud, MN.
