Alvvino's Collage Illustrations

Listen. I was going to write an entry about this guy Alessandro Maffioletti who does this pretty interesting set of illustration compilation collages, but I saw it. The elephant. I saw the elephant and now I’m all flustered about it. More on Maffioletti below.

alvvino (*1980) is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator who has lived and worked in England and Italy before settling in Berlin, Germany.

Ongoing projects include illustrations for international magazines, such as Urban, D La Repubblica, Lamono, Creator, Robot Magazine, Gas Jeans, Heineken etc…

    what a rip off from a Finnish illustrator Inka Järvinen. I’ve been her fan for so many years and it’s a shame that some one is ripping off her style like this.

    Maffioletti hasn’t even bothered to change the bright green color, which has been seen on Järvinen’s work long before these illustrations!

    I don’t really see any connection, they just use the same tecnique and I know a lot more artist that use it.
