Let me tell you right away – this post is about a project made by designer Xavier Barrade. It’s the first post on World Famous Design Junkies about him, and it definitely will not be the last. His stuff is flat out fantabulous. Unique and wild. This book project is right up there. Up in outer space with the wild factor. It’s a project called “The Book” and it’s all about the presence of the book. The book on the book.

The book is everywhere. It’s not going away, no matter how hard people try to tell you. And they will if they haven’t already. They will try to tell the book away from your mind so hard. But don’t pay them any mind! Take a peek at this Barrade project and note to yourself how often a book plays a role in your life, even if it’s never opened.
