NYC Newspaper Ads by HAPPY DESIGN 17_nyadsvectorise17

Ever see an ad in the Wanted section of the newspaper that just blows you away? No? Cause that type is set. You buy that space, the characters in the words, but not the spacing. Imagine a world where everyone, not just those who buy the advertisements between articles, bought blocks of space. I bet it’d look terrible. But imagine again if everyone who bought space was generally pretty fantastic at their typography skills? It might look a little like what you see above. Presenting NYC Newspaper Ads from HAPPY DESIGN aka David Conte. Wish for a happier place!

What a wonderful place the world would be with perfect typography. Right? Or are you of the belief system that says that a perfectly set world is a world run by the devil? Ozzy Osbourne has been quoted several times saying he knew the devil was pretty happy these days, so maybe we’re well on our way! Take a peep at this fabulous newspaper ad project from Happy Design.
