Where new design goes to blossom and lost design goes to live again.

An ironic co-incidence. The Banksy molotov bouquet image has existed since before 2003* *that’s when I saw one in real life when I was trodding around Hackney! On the other hand, this man tossing flowers in Iran seems to have just appeared in the last few days ala the 2009 presidential election protests.

How real reality?

Check photographer (or photograph collector) Bahramks to rile up more info on the flower tosser – what’s known is that he’s probably part of the “riots” in Tehran a few days ago right after the election results were announced – and quickly refuted.

World Famous Design Junkies basically cannot resist the Banksy urge. The photo above is from the Banksy vs Bristol show summer 2009. Futhermore, check out the Design for Iran post in ernest. It’s hip – it’s now – it’s wow.
