Puzzle Korpuskulartheorie WFDJ

When’s the last time you did a puzzle? I mean like when’s the last time you put a whole freaking puzzle together? Have you ever wondered what it’d be like to take a bunch of similar-sized puzzles, slapping them together without mercy? Oh my goodness that’d be a mess. Or would it?

Artist / designer Gerhard Mayer thought of that. And he did it. And he did it WELL.

This work is gigantonormus. Below you’ll find pictures of a bunch of closeups of this monumental work, above you can see the whole image in all it’s lovely glory. Oh if only I could have this thing right up in front of me. Oh if only.

#19 „Korpuskulartheorie –P“
248 x 625 cm (98 ” x 247″)
Puzzle auf Aluminium (Puzzle on aluminium) (incase you couldn’t translate that one, singular German word, omfg)

At the moment we don’t know when/if this will be exhibited anytime soon, or anywhere near the USA, much less Minneapolis, but I personally will keep you informed!

This post is straight out of the totally insane World Famous Design Junkies Collage category.
