Oh my goodness look at all the chippies and the Star Wars characters! Chipmunks were always meant to play these roles, did you know? But George Lucas was held up by budget constraints so he had to use humans instead. They work for peanuts. Chimpunks work for almonds, and as everyone knows, almonds cost just a little more than peanuts. And you know, photographer Chris McVeigh has just that much money.
Generally it’s of good taste to translate the description of a series to different wording when one is blogging about said series. But this is too cute:
Star Wars spills into the chipmunk universe!
The critters you see in these pics are wild chipmunks that live in my folk’s backyard. Using a few simple techniques, I was able to get them to socialize with us on a regular basis (and certain chipmunks would even come to the yard when I whistled.) Each of them were quite comical and very easy to get along with, as you can probably tell from these pictures.
And in case there is any doubt, I want to assure you that these pictures are real and not clever composites made in Photoshop. Chipmunks can be very easy to get along with, once you’ve taken the time to befriend them.

Yes, you design junkies, you must indeed know that the greatest control you can have is over animal life. Because when you’ve got that power, you can teach them to design everything for you. They can paint, they can illustrate, and as you can see, they are really pretty good at modeling for photos.
