according to the interwebs, that’s $3,430.67 US.

I wonder how many people drank all that…

  • Travis

Those are some expensive drinks! Comes out to be like 10 bucks for a pint of Guiness and a bottle of Heineken!

  • Clinton

It should be noted that this translates to 3227.09 American dollars. Still, pretty impressive.

  • Weez

‘shopped. can’t believe nobody caught that.

  • Bill Cosbee

    Wtf 38 for 2 red bulls ?

  • itsme

That’s normal in norway because of high alcohol taxes.

  • Eivind

Lol at the translation below, “shaving position”?. It say “… reduse the amount of orders at the bar.”

  • Zug

    thats US$3232.48

  • Terrence Eisenhower

does anyone realize the date on this??? October 8th 2010….. can Iron Maiden travel ahead in time??

  • thedude

Anyone else notice the date is wrong on the reciept?

  • paul

I know in some European countries the day comes before the month so perhaps it is tenth of August.

  • Timus

The date in most countries other than America is read day/month/year. So it’s actually August 10th. not October 8th.

  • Richard

Uh… the date is- Aug 10th… how is that a problem ??

It’s Europe, dudes, they do dates different….

  • Akru

In scandinavia date is presented as dd.mm.year. So actual date is 10th of august.

  • JP

The date on the receipt is 10th of August 2010. We use Day/Month/Year in Norway (i.e 10.08.2010). They played in Bergen on the 11th. Also, the translation under the picture is almost right. Except for “..dampen shaving position.” (What does that even mean?). It’s “..dampen the bar order. Directly translated: Barbestilling = Bar order. Up the Irons!

  • Beh

In most places apart from America it goes DD/MM/YY sso this is dated the 8th of August

  • sbelse

idiots, in many european countries the day comes first in the date, this is from the 10th of august!

  • Jan

@thedude: no, it’s not. In europe, date is written in DD.MM.YYYY format. Except maybe in UK, they are something special.
So the date is 10th of August, 2010.

  • Mark

The date isn’t wrong. This side of the Atlantic, the format is dd/mm, not mm/dd. Therefore the date listed is the 10th of August, not the 8th of October.

  • Mike

@thedude & Eisenhower: Over here (Norway & Sweden) we put our day first and month second. Just to mess with you guys. =)

  • ro

    that’s 10th of august not 8th of october…geniuses…many….MANY countries use dd/mm/yy

  • Kostas

According to their tour dates on their site

    http://www.ironmaiden.com/index.php?categoryid=15

Wed 11 Norway- Bergen Bergenhus Festning – Koengen (support – Dark Tranquility)

they were playing on the 11th of August at Norway. So they probably played with the worst hangover ever :)

  • Terrence Eisenhower

    oh hahaha

  • JohnnyB749

the date on the reciept is not written in the usual American month/day/year format… it is written in the more logical, order of duration from shortest (day) to longest (year)… or DAY/MONTH/YEAR! the US Military and many nations worldwide use this format instead of the format we use which is based on the way we verbally communicate the date… such as August 10, 2010…Americans would write it as 08/10/2010 where others would write it 10/08/2010. so as you can see…TIME TRAVEL is not one of Iron Maiden’s many abilities. It just takes a different perspective.

  • Pa

Quite clearly this tab is for 20 thousand euro, note the decimal place! 20109,00 is 20 thousand one hundred and nine euro, making a lot of yer currency converters very wrong!

  • NateDawg

ITS SHOPPED. Look at the white to the left of the date and such. There is a rectangle around the ” Ansatt : 20 then date”. Obviously making this bullshit, no one sees this????

    • Chris Burns

Why would someone photoshop manipulate a bill when it would be MUCH MUCH easier to just print one up?

  • NateDawg

to the left of ansatt u can see a perfect vertical line

  • Matt

Man, it´s Iron Maiden! Of course they do occasional time travels! They can, because they´re Iron fuckin Maiden! Eminem can´t do shit like that…
    God save the Queen!

  • Noruza

Maybe it’s august 10th 2010? they were playing in Finland and Norway that week

  • Anon

some cameras have poor quality… hard to realize in this day and age, i know. but also realize that there are a few other rectangles on the photo. the one first mentioned next to the “Ansatt” word goes down a ways and also up a bit too. if you look hard enough, its even on the darker background. it happens. its a loss of data, or a partial corruption… and anyways, why would you want to ‘shop a margin on a reciept? nothing is there anyways. and as Chris Burns said, why ‘shop one when you can simply print a new one out? and its pretty easy to ask for a reciept for a prank… hell, ive done it once, just to freak someone out… and it worked…

  • Arctor

If the bill is in Kroner that’s over $5 for a ~half-pint glass of Coke? Is that 28CL figure right or are they really overcharging that much?

  • Bill

As a scandinavian citizen, I can honestly say that the prices are perfectly resonable by Norwegian standards. That’s one really expensive country to drink in. Except maybe oil…

  • Chris Tendall

thats a shit load to drink at 5:42 PM

  • danny

    lmao 28 slippery nipples

  • spark

    who the #@*! cares

  • Daniel

Hello, in Europe the date is written Day/Month/Year. 10th of August, 2010.

  • ashahmal

it is photoshopped. the rectangle at the top goes all the way around the entire receipt, the lighting just makes it extra noticable. what you are seeing is the border where no ink hit. look at one of your grocery reciepts, same thing

  • ashahmal

it is not photoshopped. the rectangle at the top goes all the way around the entire receipt, the lighting just makes it extra noticable. what you are seeing is the border where no ink hit. look at one of your grocery reciepts, same thing

  • corndog

    other countries are lame

  • ogge

Was in that pub the other night, yes 49,-($8) is the price for a 0,4 liter (ca pint) of Hansa beer, which is pretty standard for popular/touristy places. Prices are in Norwegian Krona NOT Euro as Pa suggests. Norway is not part of the EMU and 49 euro translates to $66…for a beer. A bit steep even for us.

  • Tyler

The date is August 10, 2010. People need to realize that America is way different then the rest of the world.

  • http://kauna.tumblr.com Millie

This is at Finnegans in Bergen, my fave pub. Several of my friends were there that night, and they told me it was awesome.
    And no, it’s not photoshopped.

  • Oldfag

Hey dumbshits, first off this is shooped. Secondly that date hasn’t happened yet.

  • Bob Dole

In Soviet Russia date write you.

  • Annie

Seriously, if one more person says that the date is wrong, I’m gonna punch someone in the face.

  • top

    thats like 3500 us dollars
