Abandoned spaces are fantastic to explore. This particular space isn’t quite entirely “abandoned,” but it is recently emptied at the time of photography. This is a former home of New York Times Magazine, faithfully documented and put in a book by photographer Masood Kamandy.

Some words from the photographer, Masood Kamandy

Before The New York Times moved its headquarters to the new Renzo Piano building at 620 8th Avenue in New York, its offices were at 229 West 43rd Street. This project is a documentation of the 8th and 11th floors of that building where The New York Times Magazine was based. A self-published book of these images is available for purchase from blurb.com.
