Public Market Fiasco

Welcome to the Results Under Action project. For those who wish, with humongoid wood-backed asterisk structures and plain, easy to read footnotes, to understand the intricacies of the architecture and space around them. Get pumped up about your social environment! This particular adventure is called “Public Market Fiasco” and it takes place in Portland, Oregon, at the Yamhill Marketplace; asterisk capital of the universe!

Read, if you dare, the entire well-set manifesto of the Results Under Action project.

But only if you dare!

RESULTS UNDER ACTION

This entire amalgamation is the brainchild of designer / architect participant Justin Gorman. You’ll see a few other peeps in the photos of this project below – they are his pals and associates who are incidentally very into asterisk and footnote culture.

See if you can tell what these messages really mean. Are they a comment on the fact that in a normally full-to-the-brim marketplace happens to be empty? Do they speak about the mindset of the shoppers who are shopping? Peel and see!
