A Brief History of Modern Communication

A fun iconized view of communication history over the past couple hundred years, starting with the Bell telephone. Taking cues from Computing, Current Events, Writing and Print, and Broadcasting, Geo Panch design group runs this timeline all the way through to 2007. In 2007 designed for the greater good of the world, was the all-encompassing perfect machine that made the world a perfect insta-speak village. Can you guess what this apex is?

Yes the iPhone.

I think we’ve got a long way to go, people! But this chart is amazing nontheless! Take a peek at the yellow red green and blue of this 122 year span, and wonder to yourself why there’s no cup on a string in there. That’s what I wanna know!

After you’re done here, send your eyes on over to the Geo Panch Design and Direction online portfolio. Then get some World Famous Design Junkies pixels in your stomach for a well-balanced diet.
