Let me tell you about science manual books. Science manual books are manuals full of science related materials and science related illustrations. Most of the illustrations in science manuals are line-drawings. Since the illustrations in science manuals are line drawings, and on the whole, look basically the same, they’re very viable for super-simple collage. Super-simple collage is what’s going on right here! Super weird compositions by design entity known as Culprit Tech. Main member/illustrator: Matt Pattinson.

Culprit Tech has been making amalgamations such as the ones found in this post since December 2007. What Culprit Tech does is to create collage works out of old science magazines and books and all that lovely stuff, take those collages and animate them, finally adding music by musician Mammal live!

Culprit Tech’s most recent show was just this November at Analogue Books, their next will be sometime in the next two months! The video below is an example of what you’ll see at a live show, projected on a screen, the music live.
