Ten Full Years of “Fleshing the Press” with Dan and Michael. Yes, it’s the 10 Year Anniversary of the poster-making-bandits Aesthetic Apparatus. Starting at noon, this one-day palooza of posters and friendship lasted until midnight with several events throughout the festival. First, free anniversary prints for the first (100?) customers at the annual Scratch and Dent sale. Second, an all-day rare-and-sold-out print auction. Third, bands at night: Awesome Snakes and The Deaths.

Fourth, Dan Ibarra making bacon on the grill.

A laundry must-pick-up list of design-minds who were in attendance, along with their linkz (feel free to add): Erik Brandt, Elisabeth Workman, Colin Trechter, Liz Plahn, Kelly English, Dan Ibarra, Michael Byzewski, Jonathan Schuster, Sarah Kissel, Greg Hubacek, Awesome Snakes, and The Deaths.

This video was filmed at 9:30PM on the night of the event which was the 28th of March, 2009. The actual for-real anniversary of the Aesthetic Apparatus team was decided to be February 10th 2009, while the event celebrating the event (what this post is covering) was just 2 days ago because it’s astrologically much cleaner a date.
