Not France, England. London, even. Slab serifs and geisha women. Two dudes in nice clothing. This new album, “Love the Future” by the pair called Chester French is an exercise in classy hooking. Just what a modern album cover should be. The designer / art director of this album cover (see below) is Nick Dart; a Londoner with a taste for simplicity.

Get more info on Chester French if you like neu-pop / star trak rock and roll music with a taste of hiphop and whatnot. Also I recommend their mixtape: Jacques Jams, Vol 1: Endurance. Also: Chester French is on the Star Trak record label, which means they’re connected with Pharrell Williams. It pays to get noticed by Pharrell, as their collaboration list already states: Jermaine Dupri, Puff Daddy aka Diddy, Bun B, Pusha, Kardinal Offishall, N.O.R.E., Cassie, Talib Kweli, Mickey Factz, Jadakiss, Wale, The Mad Rapper, Lady Gaga, Solange, Common, and Janelle Monae. Edit: This list is on the mixtape, the full list of collaborators on the album is much larger. Check it out.
