The Dead Weather poster prints by Aesthetic Apparatus

Hoo bang it’s an intelligent band that takes advantage of printmaking duo Aesthetic Apparatus’s love for them, and that’s what’s up here! AA loves The Dead Weather, and they continue to create what’s called the “Soft Identity” through their current tour of screenprint posters in the USA. Silver and black attack!

THE DEAD WEATHER
San Diego / Los Angeles | The Wiltern

We were once again called upon to do a poster for the current Dead Weather tour and couldn’t be more happy about it. Just so you all know what appears gray on the poster is actually metallic silver. Shiny! Scary!

Habeeb it! Also check out the rest of the series which uses yellow, black, and white for your pleasure and Jack White’s. Ol’ Jack is in the band as I’m sure you’re fruitfully aware. At first I wonder if the red/black/white combo of the White Stripes has anything to do with the simplicity of these color combos. But then I, and you, take a look at the rest of the Aesthetic Apparatus library and note: they go from one color to 50 on the same page: each project gets exactly the attention it deserves.

This post be a part of the World Famous Design Junkies screenprints collection. If only one could catch em all! Also take a peek at the World Famous Design Junkies Aesthetic Apparatus collection – we know em!
